Luke 2: 14

When the shepherds saw the baby Jesus wrapped snugly and “lying in a feeding trough,” they praised and glorified God.  They had just seen the favor of God made available to all people.  Favor, the amazing grace of God, can only be experienced by a humbled, surrendered heart blanketed securely by faith in Jesus Christ.  The tangible evidence of God’s favor is worship.  “Glory to God in the highest”!

Prayer:  Gracious God, I surrender all, for You have given me favor.  AMEN.

Thanks for joining me for the 12 days of Christmas as we focused on worship of the Savior, Jesus the Christ.   As the author, each daily reading was first published and featured in the 2015-16 Winter edition of YOU Adult Bible Study for Lifeway.

May God be pleased with our worship not just at Christmas time but every day as we give Him our all. I pray He will continually teach us how to be a true worshiper in spirit and in truth.

I’d love to hear your comments  and I welcome you to subscribe.

Have a blessed, joyful and worship-filled Christmas and a phenomenal New Year!
